Workshops & Public Speaking
I offer trauma-informed workshops and speaking engagements designed for caregivers, helpers, clinicians, first responders, and organizations supporting people in high-stress roles, as well as individuals seeking training. My approach blends clinical expertise, lived experience, and practical skills participants can actually use; without overwhelm, shame, or jargon.
Whether you’re looking for a single training, a multi-part series, or a keynote-style talk, my workshops are grounded, engaging, and centered on sustainability.
Workshops

My workshops are interactive, down-to-earth trainings that help folks who care for others understand stress, trauma, and burnout, and actually do something about it. Offered virtually or in person, as single sessions or multi-part series, each workshop blends real clinical knowledge with tools you can use the very next day.

Who These Workshops Are For:
My workshops are especially well-suited for:
-
Caregivers and direct-care professionals
-
First responders and helping professionals
-
Birthworkers and perinatal providers
-
Clinicians, social workers, and mental health professionals
-
Organizations seeking trauma-informed training that feels human, not clinical
Workshops can be adapted for mixed-role teams, community groups, or professional audiences. Reach out for more information on creating a custom workshop.
My Approach:
Workshops are education-forward, strength-based, and emotionally attuned. I don’t believe in “pushing through” or surface-level self-care. Instead, I help people understand why stress, trauma, and overwhelm show up; and how to respond with clarity, boundaries, and compassion.
Participants can expect:
-
Trauma-informed, nervous-system-aware education
-
Practical tools that translate to real life and real work
-
Space for reflection without forced vulnerability
-
Inclusive, accessible language that meets people where they are
My goal is for participants to leave feeling more grounded, more informed, more resourced, and not fixed or pressured to “do more.”
CURRENTLY OFFERING:
Understanding Trauma & the Window of Tolerance
An educational workshop focused on defining trauma, stress responses, and the window of tolerance. Participants learn how nervous system dysregulation shows up in daily life and work—and how to recognize early signs of overwhelm.
Topics include:
-
What trauma actually is (and isn’t)
-
The window of tolerance explained in accessible language
-
How stress and trauma impact emotions, behavior, and relationships
-
Grounding and regulation tools for daily use

Burnout, compassion fatigue, and the cost of caring
Boundaries and sustainable helping for high-stress roles
Stress, the nervous system, and your "window of tolerance"

What to Expect
My speaking style is grounded, relatable, and honest. I bring clinical expertise and lived experience without the jargon or the guilt trip. Whether it's a 20-minute keynote or a full conference session, my goal is for your audience to leave feeling seen, informed, and equipped.
Every engagement includes a planning conversation beforehand so the talk actually fits your people and your moment.
